What does a reserve study cost?

Reviewed on

Ballast does not publish an unsupported reserve-study price range. The cost is quoted after the property, existing record, requested work, and applicable requirements are scoped, because those facts determine whether the supported engagement is a Full New Reserve Study or a Reserve Study Update.

Why there is no market range here

No current primary source reviewed for this launch pass establishes a market-wide reserve-study price range. Repeating a plausible conventional range would turn an unsupported claim into a board budget input, so it has been removed.

What the scope must settle

Fannie Mae's current Full Review source identifies the contents a qualifying study must address: major common-area components, condition and remaining useful life, estimated repair or replacement cost, estimated annual contributions including inflation, existing funded reserves, and a suggested funding plan. It also requires an independent third party with specific expertise and compliance with relevant state requirements.

Ballast's scope request establishes the property and the decision the board needs to make, reviews whether an existing record can support an Update, and then presents the supported engagement and quote. The form does not create an account, charge the association, or promise eligibility.
